Over 246 thousand Canadian men embraced Movember this year, raising the money for prostate cancer awareness and research.
That’s well above last year’s total of 22.3 million dollars raised by nearly 119 thousand Canadians.
This makes Canada the leading country in the global Movember movement.
Bruce Grey Owen Sound MP Larry Miller completed the Movember campaign on Parliament Hill yesterday in style by growing a new goatee and raising $1,236 to help increase awareness and funds for prostate cancer during the month-long campaign.
Miller was a member of the Strong, Stable, National, Conservative Mo-jority team.
The 13-member team raised $11,869.
