The bar and grill will be hosting a “Pink Party” which is a fundraising event for 10 women from Saugeen Shores who are known as “Team Think Pink.”
Team Think Pink Spokesperson Ashley Forrest says there will be door prizes which include an arbonne basket and 4 prizes from Saugeen Golf Club which is green fees and cart paid for.
Forrest says there will also be raffling an 800 dollar gift basket filled with donated items from local Saugeen Shores businesses and the last of the raffle tickets will be sold at the door.
Forrest says the main idea behind the fundraiser is their group is trying to raise 20 thousand dollars so they can participate in the 6th annual Weekend to End Breast Cancer benefiting Princess Margaret Hospital Sept 5-7th this year.
Forrest says the group will walk 60km over the course of two days to show their support to find a cure for breast cancer.
Forrest says they have already held a garage sale in May and in the future hope to hold a BBQ.
Admission is 5 dollars tonight and the fundraiser runs from 8pm to 2 am.
Team Think Pink is made up of : Ashley Forrest, Lauren Crabbe, Stacey Ashton, Krista Brandon, Sara Tolton, Aryn Carnie, Bronwen Carling, Jenny Martindale, Kristin Freiburger and Melissa McKague.
