The Township of Georgian Bluffs is launching a survey as it works to establish a Community Improvement Plan (CIP) program.
The township says the program would help provide financial incentives like grants, loans and rebates to help investment in the municipality. This could also extend to housing, agricultural development, revitalizing downtown spaces, and transforming underutilized properties.
The comments received through the survey will help shine a light on community preferences, setting eligibility criteria and developing draft program guidelines.
“The township will also be hosting focus group events for specific sectors in early 2024, and a public open house later in the spring. These sessions will offer additional opportunities to share experiences and contribute to the community’s growth and development,” says the township.
More details on the survey can be found on the municipality’s website, Engage GB here.
