Grey Bruce OPP say stunt driving continues to be a concern after charging 72 drivers this past year.
Police say in 2023, they charged an average six drivers a month with stunt driving.
Most recently on Jan. 2 alone, police say they stopped three drivers on Grey Bruce roads.
At 2:01 p.m., police observed a vehicle driving over the 50 kilometre an hour speed limit on Highway 6 in Hepworth. Police say the 22-year-old accused from Scarborough was charged with stunt driving.
Later at 6:04 p.m., police say they saw another vehicle traveling above the 50 kilometre an hour speed limit in a community safety zone on Grey Road 4. The 35-year-old accused from Durham was charged with stunt driving.
That evening at 8:40 p.m., police reportedly found another vehicle speeding above the 80 kilometre an hour speed limit on Berford Street in Wiarton. The 21-year-old accused from Brampton was charged with stunt driving.
Police say officers actively patrol, educate and enforce laws to help ensure compliance and the safety of local communities.
Police ask anyone who witnesses unsafe driving or unlawful activity to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or 9-1-1 in an emergency.
