The work to replace the Teeswater River Bridge in Paisley is progressing on schedule.
Bruce County says the concrete for the bridge deck and sidewalks have been poured.
The construction project commenced in May 2022. It also includes construction within the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie, with a sanitary mainline and a water main.
Now that the sanitary line is finished, work is continuing on a water main, and is nearing completion.
The road work is expected to be completed in late September of this year, with paving scheduled in the summer of 2024.
The new bridge is being constructed to allow for more river flow clearance and will have a service life of 75 years.
