The Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre is partnering with the Bruce Peninsula Society of Artists for an art show in June.
The art show titled “Escarpment Roots: The Land, The People, The Story,” will open June 10 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the museum.
This exhibition explores the heritage and landscapes of the Niagara Escaprment by featuring artworks created by local artists who drew inspiration from the area.
Museum Director Cathy McGirr says they are excited to welcome the society back to the museum with their newest juried show.
“This exhibition is an amazing connection to all things Bruce, as reflected in the title,” says McGirr.
During the opening event, guests will be able to engage with the artists and learn about their creative process, and gain insights into the stories behind their pieces over complimentary coffee, tea and refreshments.
The exhibition will be on display until Sept. 4, with a closing reception set for Sept. 2.
