South Bruce OPP says that between October 2nd and 17th of this year, they responded to 16 collisions involving deer.
They also say that the amount of deer-related collisions in the county went up for the month of November.
No injuries were reported at any of the scenes.
Between November 4th and 24th, they responded to 48 crashes involving the animals.
OPP are reminding drivers of how to avoid hitting a deer: drive carefully around sunrise and sunset, when deer are most active, use high beams at night when there is no oncoming traffic, and if you see a deer on or near the road, slow down and use your horn to try and scare the animal away.
Police also warn to not swerve to avoid the deer, and not to solely rely on deer fencing or deer whistles to deter them.
