Owen Sound teenager Jesse Walker completed his half marathon run on September 3rd.
The 3rd annual distance run by Walker served again as a fundraiser for Childhood Cancer research.
With a stated goal of raising $ 10,000, Jesse Walker once again smashed his projected target and raised almost double his goal.
The Great Paul Hill had Jesse Walker as a guest on the 560 CFOS Morning Show and Walker admitted the weather conditions for his run were very warm.
The half marathon this year raised close to $ 20,000 and Jesse Walker’s 3 year fundraising total is close to $ 75,000.
At the moment, Walker is considering running one more time with the goal of having his fundraising total through the years bypass $ 100,000.
