With the price of oil inching again toward 110 dollars U-S a barrel this week — drivers are finding it tough to get a decent price for gasoline.
For people in Grey, Bruce and Simcoe Counties there is not much variation in the price.
The lowest price posted Friday morning on www.gasbuddy.com is in Markdale.
The new Ultramar station is pumping unleaded for 123.9 a litre.
That is the lowest price in the immediate area, and matches the goal of the station owner.
It recently changed from Petro-Canada to Ultramar with the same owner saying he wanted to be competitive in pricing.
Meanwhile, the price of gas is 128 to 129.9 in Owen Sound.
Durham stations are selling gas for 129 a litre and Mount Forest is 125 to 128.
In Port Elgin the price goes as high as 132.9 at Petro Canada, while all stations in Goderich are selling gas for 125 a litre.
Collingwood stations are selling gas Friday for 126.9 to 128.9 a litre while stations in Barrie range from 123.9 to 129.9.
