It was a busy weekend for Grey County OPP.
They received 60 calls for services between 1 PM Friday and 8 AM on Monday.
Of those calls 22 were about car crashes with the majority minor in nature.
The OPP say motorists were simply driving too fast for the road and weather conditions.
Among the crashes, Grey County OPP were called to a collision Saturday just before Midnight on Highway 26 near the 3rd Line of Meaford.
A Chrysler collided with the back end of Volvo plow truck.
There was minor damage to the plow truck and severe damage to the Chrysler.
A 41 year old man from Town of South Bruce Peninsula is charged with following too close.
Just before Noon on Sunday, police responded to a collision involving an all terrain vehicle (ATV) on Sideroad 4 in the Municipality of Meaford.
The driver was operating an ATV that was towing an inflatable tube occupied by two female passengers on the roadway.
The tube struck a street sign, sending the passengers, both 34 years of age, to the Meaford Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The driver, a 41 year old Meaford male, was not injured.
