Quite an honour for the Principal of Immaculate Conception School in Formosa.
Francine Pilon is one of 19 Ontario Principals and 40 across the country to be named one of Canada’s Outstanding Principals.
The Learning Partnership hands out the awards every year to recognize Principals who are committed educators and school administrators.
CEO Veronica Lacey says these principals make a real, positive impact on their students, their schools and their communities.
Pilon and the other winning Principals were nominated by their peers, school staff and community members.
Pilon’s Immaculate Conception School in Formosa was listed by the Fraser Institute as one of the top 100 schools in Ontario last year.
The Outstanding Principals will receive their awards at a gala dinner and awards ceremony on February 28th in Toronto.
