West Grey Police have released the identity of a young man killed in that three vehicle crash near Durham.
The victim is identified as 17 year old James Wilton of Durham.
The JDSS student was a passenger in a mini-van that collided with a transport at an intersection on Grey Road 4 just west of Durham after 8:30 AM on Thursday.
A pickup truck then collided with the transport and six other people suffered injuries.
17 year old Nelson Skinner of Durham suffered serious injuries and was taken to London hospital where his in serious but stable condition.
Three other teens in the mini-van — 17 year old Benjamin Dow, 17 year old Jared Kanczula and 18 year old Ryan Skinner, all from Durham — all suffered minor injuries.
Police say the transport driver — 66 year old Doug Dodge of Kirkwood and a passenger in the pickup, 68 year old Shirley Harkness of Durham — suffered minor injuries.
Police continue to investigate.
