The Queen of the Wiarton Willie Festival will be crowned Friday night.
The 2012 pageant is being held in the auditorium of the Wiarton arena at 7 PM.
There are nine contestants who have already completed their preliminary judging.
Not only will the Queen win the Crown — but also a 15 hundred dollar bursary.
The First Princess will receive 500 dollars and the Second Princess will receive 300 dollars.
Miss Congeniality will be chosen from amongst the girls.
Admission is two dollars with a Food Bank donation or five dollars per person.
Key stakeholders of the pageant are the Teskey Family and Carruthers Nicol Insurance.
The Judges are Kristy Beck, Angie McDougall and Bonnie Warder.
Entertainment will be provided by David Nixon, Brooklyn Hewton and members of the Owen Sound Celtic Dance Company.
