An update on that story about a woman being bitten by a dog in Mildmay.
The incident happened on Saturday, but the Grey Bruce Health Unit says the owner of the dog has now come forward.
The dog is healthy and current for rabies shots.
As a precaution, health unit officials say the dog will remain in isolation for the remainder of the observation period.
All dogs involved in biting incidents are confined regardless of vaccine status.
The Public Health thanks the owner of the dog for coming forward and the media and public for bringing this incident to a successful conclusion.
No further action in expected on this matter.
