You can see some of the best female snowboarders in the world at Blue Mountain this weekend.
The Billabong “Flaunt It” Snowboard Competition — an all girls snowboard tour — stops at Blue today.
The competition begins at 10 AM and there will be a Rail Jam skills showcase and awards ceremony at 2 PM at the Badlands Terrain Park at Blue.
Blue spokesperson Collin Matanowitsch says the competition has a local flavour since many of competitors snowboard regularly at area resorts.
Matanowitsch notes they have held this event in the past and there have been some exciting and thrilling tricks.
There is also a Snowshoe Raid at Blue tomorrow.
A news conference will also be held tomorrow for the FIS World Cup stop at Blue Mountain from February 1st to the 8th.
