Goderich Mayor Deb Shewfelt is generating the hits on YouTube.
The Mayor has taken to social media to share the news of the Town’s recovery from the deadly tornado in August.
The four minute package was put together by George Zoethout, media specialist for the municipality.
Mayor Shewfelt says while it shows some of the devastation from the August 21st tornado, the video focuses on reconstruction.
He says it manages to blend in the latest Building Department statistics.
Shewfelt tells us the video even has a segment on the “Goderich Is Hockeyville” bid.
Producer George Zoethout says the kitchen-table piece was the Mayor’s idea.
Zoethout says the feature generated almost two thousand hits in its first day of release.
He says watching the piece is as easy as typing “Goderich Rebuild” in your search engine.
