It was a very special Christmas for almost 300 children in Bruce County.
The Bruce Children are Special Foundation says they were able to provide 289 children with a Christmas Hamper over the holidays.
32 young adults also received a gift card while 31 families had a sponsor.
Administrator Cherie Borho says donations were down, but they were able to make sure no child went without something under the Christmas tree.
The Foundation says they would not have been able to help so many people without the generosity of the community.
The Bruce Children are Special Foundation is now accepting donations for this year’s programs.
