A couple from Wingham has survived a tragedy aboard a cruise ship that ran aground off the coast of Italy.
Alan and Laurie Willits say they were watching a magic show in the ship’s main theatre when they felt an initial lurch.
The number of people unaccounted for has dropped from 70 to about 40.
