The Peninsula Adventure Sports Association (PASA) has announced two grants.
Money will be donated to the Bruce Peninsula Sportsmen’s Association Archery Club, as well as to Peninsula Shores Elementary Cross Country Ski Team.
The money was raised from last summer’s Bruce Peninsula Multisport Race.
President Jack Van Dorp says they are happy to support these two groups as they try to get people outside and enjoying the region.
Any ventures that promote outdoor sport or the creation of outdoor sport infrastructure can apply for the grant.
Van Dorp says it must highlight or showcase the unique features of the Bruce Peninsula.
The deadline for the second round of grants is March 31st.
