The lost revenue for Student Transportation will be dealt with at Tuesday Business Committee meeting of the Bluewater District School Board.
The committee will suggest to trustees that a letter be sent to the Ministry of Education — requesting funding to make up the difference.
As we first told you in November — the French Catholic School Board is pulling out of the Student Transportation Service Consortium in June.
The public board has been told the financial impact will be between 80 thousand and 150 thousand dollars a year.
The business committee feels that money should be made up by the Education Ministry.
The consortium operates 336 routes.
French Catholic students ride of 29 of the routes.
