Gas Prices have jumped in the region.
In Owen Sound on Friday — prices start at 1.18 a litre for regular unleaded at the Shell location downtown, to 1.23 at all other locations in the City.
In Port Elgin, prices range from 1.14 at Independent at the Pumps to 1.22 a litre at Petro Canada, Esso and UPI.
Hanover starts at 1.19 at Pioneer and F/S is charging 1.20 for a litre of regular unleaded gas.
In Meaford, prices are 1.18 or 1.19 while Collingwood locations are all at 1.19 a litre for regular unleaded.
Along the Lake Huron shoreline, Kincardine gas prices are 1.20 at Canadian Tire to 1.23 at UPI — and in Goderich, the stations are all charged 1.18 a litre.
The only good news is we are a lot cheaper than Montreal, where drivers woke up to 1.37 a litre on Friday morning.
