Over nine thousand PLAY hours were logged during the the Shortest Day of Play in Grey and Bruce.
The event back on December 21st had 11 municipalities participate in the challenge, which encourages residents to get active.
Health Promoter with the Grey Bruce Health Unit Jason Weppler says West Grey accumulated the highest number of PLAY hours with 3,916 hours.
Second was Arran Elderslie (1,429) followed by South Bruce (1,191).
Weppler is optimistic these events will become an annual occurrence in Grey Bruce.
The three winners will receive awards later this month.
