A fresh snowfall is helping Blue Mountain resort open more trails and lifts across the mountain.
Resort officials say now that winter has finally arrived, Blue Mountains snowmaking and grooming teams are working at a rapid pace to expand available terrain.
The resort plans to have 15 to 20 trails open Thursday with an average base of 30 to 40 centimetres of snow.
Provided the conditions remain steady, the resort hopes to be operating at full capacity by the end of the weekend.
In addition to skiing and snowboarding, guests can check out other activities, including yoga, cooking classes, wine tasting, spa experiences, shopping, dining and a great selection of kids camps and programs.
