The Southampton Rotary club will help fill up the Salvation Army Christmas Hampers today.
The Rotary Club will pick up turkeys from Southampton Foodland, Harrigan’s Red and White Store, and Legault’s Independent in Port Elgin starting at 9:30 AM.
In total, just over one-thousand dollars worth of turkeys have been purchased.
President Tony Sheard says the money is coming from various fund raising initiatives throughout the year.
He says each year they try to do something for the Food Bank at this time of year, and this year they decided on turkeys for the Christmas Hampers.
