The first ever food drive for Bruce Peninsula OPP has been deemed a success.
The OPP’s Auxiliary Unit has been busy over the last two Saturday’s — accepting food donations at four grocery stores for a total of more than 33 hundred pounds of food.
Donations collected in Lion’s Head and Tobermory totalled about 15 hundred pounds.
Donations in Wiarton and Sauble Beach accounted for over 18 hundred pounds of food.
