Brockton is looking for land for a new multi use recreational complex.
Municipal Complex Ad Hoc Committee Spokesperson Mary Jane Bushell says the parcel of land needs to be anywhere from 20 to 30 acres.
The proposed project would include a new arena, a municipal office, a daycare and possibly the Chamber of Commerce.
Bushell says the land could also be home to new soccer fields.
Brockton will also create a business plan for the multi million dollar project — which will include fundraising targets and how to access funding.
Bushell says they want to be ready in the event the government announces any new infrastructure funding.
Once the land has been purchased, Bushell says the project will be presented to the public for further input.
