Kincardine is about to get a new Chief Administrative Officer.
Murray Clarke of Sidney, British Columbia will take over as CAO of the municipality on February 6th.
Clarke is no stranger to Ontario having served as CAO of Bracebridge and the Township of Erin during his career.
Kincardine Mayor Larry Kraemer says council is pleased that the community has been able to attract someone of Clarke’s calibre.
The choice was approved at a closed session of Kincardine council on Wednesday night.
Murray Clarke replaces former CAO John deRosenroll who left the position last summer.
Kincardine clerk Donna MacDougall has been acting as interim CAO.
