The Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre in Southampton is taking you back to Christmases Past this weekend.
Program Coordinator Nancy White says there will be lots of fun for every age, including a lot of hands-on activities for the kids.
She says there will be candle-making, crafts in Santa’s workshop, an open fire and singing Christmas carols while drinking hot chocolate.
White says there will also be an interpreter on hand to talk about the history of the two log cabins on site — which will be decorated for Christmas.
One of the cabins was the home of the MacKenzies, and at one time housed 11 people.
And because at one point or another every little kid wanted a train set, White says they have something new this year.
There will be miniature train sets, and kids can choose the routes.
The whole thing takes place tonight from 6 PM to 9 PM, and everybody is invited to drop by at any time.
There will also be horse-drawn carriage rides, but they will cost extra on top of admission.
