We’ve received more information from Grey County OPP about two crashes on Highway 6 near Shallow Lake.
Constable Alina Grelik tells Bayshore Broadcasting News the original crash caused a second crash.
In total — five vehicles were involved but there are no serious injuries.
Grelik says a gas leak at the scene has now been cleaned up — and Highway 6 near the Wilcox sideroad is now re-opened.
The crashes happened within a kilometre of each other — and within 30 minutes.
Callers to our newsroom reported black ice on that area of the highway this morning and some motorists reported sun in their eyes.
