CTV crews have arrived in Owen Sound to host Canada AM from the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
The crews are filming certain areas of the City to show off during Wednesday’s broadcast with Jeff Hutcheson as part of the Kraft celebrations.
Kraft Canada staff will be there to present a cheque for over 32 thousand dollars ($32,232) to the Salvation Army Food Bank for winning the Kraft Assists contest.
Spokesperson Alice Wannan tells Bayshore Broadcasting News Kraft is also planning even more surprises for tomorrow’s celebration.
Wannan invites all residents in Owen Sound and Bruce and Grey Counties to join the celebration from 6 AM to 9 AM on Wednesday at the Bayshore Community Centre.
She points out they would not have won the online contest without the local residents, so they want to celebrate with them.
The Owen Sound Fire Department will be cooking pancakes for all of those who attend.
Wannan says you can also bring your skates since part of the ice surface will be available for skating.
Jeff Hutcheson tells Bayshore Broadcasting News he is looking forward to returning to Owen Sound.
Hutcheson says they want to embrace and show off the community spirit.
Other guests will be on hand – including the Kraft Canada bears and Cubby and other members of the OHL Champion Owen Sound Attack.
There will be other entertainment and a children’s bouncing castle.
Bayshore Broadcasting will also be broadcasting LIVE from the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
Owen Sound you’ll remember won the 90 day Kraft Assists contest in just eight days for gaining the most signatures in the online contest.
