A 56 year old man is appearing in an Owen Sound court on weapons, drug and assault charges.
It follows a domestic dispute over the weekend.
Bruce Peninsula OPP were called to a home in the Stokes Bay area, just after midnight Sunday.
Their investigation reveals a woman had been assaulted at the residence, and that there were unauthorized firearms on the property, along with a quantity of marijuana.
The 56-year-old suspect was arrested and held in custody for a bail hearing.
He is charged with Assault, Sexual Assault, Pointing a Firearm, Uttering Threats, two counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm and finally possession of a Drug for the purpose of Trafficking.
