It’s a big night for kids of all ages and for Santa Claus as well as he makes his first visit to Port Elgin.
The Chamber of Commerce Santa Claus parade goes this evening starting at 7.
Community Relations Coordinator Heather Lorenz says this year’s edition of the parade will feature at least 38 floats that will make its way south on Goderich Street from Elgin Street to the Giant Tiger Plaza.
Lorenz says this year’s theme is “Our Christmas at Home” as the Chamber reminds everyone Christmas is about being with loved ones at home during the holiday season.
After the Port Elgin parade, the Southampton Santa parade is next on the agenda which takes place next Friday at 7pm.
