You don’t have to shop in the U-S to get huge discounts this weekend.
A number of big Canadian retailers are promising to offer some of their biggest discounts of the year this weekend.
Their sales would coincide with the big U-S Thanksgiving shopping holidays — known as Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Among stores planning sales this weekend are Canadian Tire and Sears.
Best Buy, Chapters and Indigo, the Future Shop and Lululemon are also offering huge discounts.
The stores are hoping to keep Canadian holiday-shopping money in Canada.
