Georgian College’s President and CEO is retiring.
Brian Tamblyn will start his retirement on June 29th after 13 years in the top spot.
Tamblyn started at Georgian in 1982 as the Assistant Manager/Marketing Officer at the Kempenfelt Conference Centre in Barrie.
In the 1990’s, he held several vice president positions in a number of areas and was then appointed President in the spring of 1999.
Tamblyn will apparently be travelling and playing lots of golf in his retirement.
The search for a new President is too start soon.
