Flu clinics are set to go again this week — with the first today from 3 PM to 8 PM at Georgian Bay Secondary School in Meaford.
Three more clinics are being held in the area this week.
There is another one on Wednesday from 3 PM til 8 PM at the Chesley Community Centre; and then on Thursday from 4 PM to 8 PM at Dundalk Highpoint Community School.
Also on Thursday, Saugeen Shores is holding a a special clinic at the Medical Building in Southampton from 4 PM to 7 PM.
This past week, the public health unit clinics drew over 500 people.
There were just under 200 getting the flu shot in Markdale and 300 in Kincardine.
The totals are similar to last year.
Grey Bruce Public Health encourages all area residents over six months of age to get a flu vaccine.
People of any age can be infected with the flu, and symptoms usually last two to seven days.
