November 30th is a big day for Owen Sound.
Salvation Army spokesperson Alice Wannan says that is the day Kraft Canada officials will be on hand to present a cheque for over 32 thousand dollars to the food bank.
Wannan was also first to tell Bayshore Broadcasting News that it is also the day Canada AM will be making a big splash about Owen Sound on its CTV morning show.
Wannan says there is a lot of activity in the works for November 30th, but she couldn’t reveal any more details right now.
One tip she did tell Bayshore Broadcasting News is that Canada AM and Kraft Canada asked if there was any place they could provide breakfast for a couple of thousand people that day.
Wannan says Canada AM wants to come and celebrate with Owen Sound.
The focus will be on the community and not on the food bank.
