A 12 year old girl is recovering from severe bruising on her foot after being hurt during the Owen Sound Santa Claus parade.
Police say the girl hopped off of a float after Saturday’s parade ended.
But Police say the girl stumbled to the ground on 3rd Avenue East and the wheels of the trailer ran over her foot.
She was treated and released from hospital with severe bruising but no fractures on her foot.
Police say she was fortunate to not be severely injured.
