People throughout Grey Bruce and Huron Perth are rallying for former NHL’er Boyd Devereaux tonight.
Devereaux and partner Tanith Belbin are contestant’s on CBC television’s Battle of the Blades and his charity of choice is Epilepsy Huron-Perth-Bruce-Grey.
Devereaux says it was a no-brainer choosing that charity to recieve a potential $50,000 dollars as his brother Mike suffers from epilepsy.
Devereaux says Mike is now a teacher and has been able to manage with the use of medication.
Devereaux calls him a success story, but says not too many other people are as lucky.
Boyd is in the finals tonight.
