The Georgian Riding Association for Challenged Equestrians is holding its annual fundraising dinner tonight in Owen Sound.
The event starts with cocktails at 6 PM followed by a dinner at 7 PM at the Bayshore Community Centre.
GRACE Past President Jim Merriam tells us there will also be a silent and live auction.
Merriam says all of the money raised will help support the organization.
GRACE offers horse riding lessons in a group setting for physically, mentally and developmentally challenged children and adults.
Merriam adds he is hoping to raise what they have done in past years — and that is anywhere between six and 14 thousand dollars.
The event is called “Stepping out with Grace” and will feature entertainment.
The Dinner will be catered by Peter Chaplain, a well known chef from the Markdale area.
