There’s a push to bring Kincardine’s Scouts, Cubs and Beaver programs back to life.
Scout Member Nancy Jackson says they’re in desperate need of adult volunteers and without help they can no longer continue.
Kincardine’s scouts have a storied tradition dating back 102 years, but so far only four volunteers have signed up.
Jackson says they’re attempting to drum-up interest November 9th with a meeting set for the Scout Hall in Kincardine at 7 PM.
Working with the youth members is a one-night a week commitment.
They are also looking for volunteers to form their group committee.
Without a leadership group Jackson says they simply can’t operate.
Jackson says numbers for are down to a total of 17 children across Beavers and Cubs.
Nobody has registered yet for the Scout group, aged 11 to 14.
