An elderly Saugeen Shores woman was taken hospital with life threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle over the weekend.
Saugeen Shores Police say the 77-year-old woman was walking along Goderich street in Port Elgin around 9 AM on Saturday when she was struck by a southbound pick-up truck.
The woman was taken to Southampton Hospital, and later air lifted to a London hospital.
The woman’s name has not been released and there is no update on her condition.
Saugeen Shores Police and the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are looking into the cause of the incident.
