The new LCBO project on Owen Sounds’ East side is on schedule and the store should be open next Spring.
Parallax Investment Corporation says the new 12 thousand square foot store at 1613 9th Avenue East is well under construction.
And in fact the company is looking to lease four thousand square feet of additional retail space.
Parallax is building the second smaller building on the same site near Zehrs.
Officials say the site offers a fantastic opportunity for retailers looking at the Owen Sound market.
The property location is arguably one of the best in the city, at the northeast corner of 9th Avenue East and 16th Avenue.
Parallax says it is willing to subdivide the four thousand square foot smaller building into a maximum of three units.
They have received one letter of intent from Bark and Fitz, a leading pet store with 14 locations across Ontario and British Columbia.
Bark & Fitz is looking for a franchisee for the Owen Sound location.
