The first year of the new era of politics in South Bruce Peninsula is in the books and it’s time to take stock.
To that end, council is holding a special meeting with town staff on Tuesday at 10:30 AM.
Mayor John Close says they’re going to review what’s been working over the past 12 months and what hasn’t.
Close says you’re dealing with a lot of personalities and he wants to make sure if there are any concerns, that they’re aired out and put to rest.
Close says personally, his frustration is things don’t move as quickly as he’d like but he understands that comes with government.
However Close says South Bruce Peninsula has a few announcements coming down the pipe in the near future and he’s looking forward to the year coming up.
No hint on what the announcements might be.
The special meeting is not open to the public.
