An Owen Sound resident has a new tv show, “Deals from the Darkside” on OLN TV.
Steve Santini, who’s also an extreme escape artist, tells us the show he created is basically about his search for some of the darkest artifacts in the world.
In his new series — which premiered Friday night on OLN — Santini says they discovered a chair believed to be from the Titanic.
Santini says the show is a long time coming.
Following three years of making pitches for TV shows, Santini says Buck Productions picked up his idea.
Some other “Deals of the Darkside” episodes include Jack the Rippers Knife Jack and a A monks cloak from the Spanish Inquisition.
Santini says they’ve been in production for three months and they’re still not finished.
The darkside is nothing unusual for Santini, Ripleys Believe It or Not has dubbed him the Worlds Most Extreme Escape Artist.
