Major repair work to the Owen Sound harbour wall is now complete.
Officials with Transport Canada are expected to have wrapped up a final inspection of the work by now.
Paula Fairfax at Transport Canada says the more than four months worth of work cost approximately 1.4 million dollars.
Work got underway in June, and the repair project of the Harbour Wall did not impact boat traffic.
That portion of the Harbour wall is used exclusively for the winter berthing of the Chi-Cheemaun passenger ferry.
Transport Canada had to set up a detour of the sidewalk along 1st Avenue West while the work was being done, but that detour is now gone.
