The “Fill a Cruiser” event in Kincardine brought in more than 200 bags of groceries and nearly 400 dollars in cash and gift card donations.
Members of the South Bruce OPP Auxiliary unit were stationed Saturday at the Sobeys grocery store, in support of the Kincardine food bank.
They handled collections from 9 AM until 2 PM.
Constable Kevin Martin says the overwhelming support of the public was greatly appreciated by the Kincardine Food bank staff.
