A high honour for an Owen Sound bed and breakfast inn.
The Highland Manor Inn is TripAdvisor’s 2011 Certificate of Excellence Award winner.
To put it into perspective, Co-Owner/Operator Linda Bradford says the site judges over 400 thousand businesses worldwide and only give out awards to five per cent of them.
Bradford says this July and August was a record year for the Inn.
TripAdvisor is viewed by millions of people and the Highland Manor Inn currently has about 70 reviews on the site, with the majority being 5 Star ratings.
Bradford and says their motto has always been to treat visitors the way they want to be treated.
Her partner Paul Neville was invited to share his experiences with other tourism operators at the Grey Bruce Regional Tourism Conference October 26th.
Neville says the award proves you can be anywhere in the world and still accomplish this, as long as you are focused and stick to the basics.
The Highland Manor Inn overlooks Owen Sound from the escarpment on 4th Avenue “A” West.
