It’s been a frantic few weeks but “Out of the Storm” has taken the stage in Goderich’s Courthouse Park.
Today’s event was partly inspired by the cancellation of the annual West Coast Bluesfest which stages many of its events around the Square which received heavy tornado damage.
Elements of A Taste of Huron held in Goderich also had to be cancelled.
“Out of the Storm” raises funds for the Goderich and Area Disaster Relief Fund and gives residents a break from the tornado cleanup.
Prominent recording artists including Serena Ryder and Matthew Good are among the acts performing in the 13-hour long musical marathon.
“Out of the Storm” runs from 12 Noon till 1 AM.
The concert is co-sponsored by 104.9 the Beach, 98 the Beach, Country 93 and Mix 106.5.
