The Saugeen Shores police board is looking for a new municipal member.
Police board chair and Deputy Mayor Luke Charbonneau says the successful candidate will be appointed by council but anyone can apply for the position.
Charbonneau says he hopes they get a ton of applications.
He says it’s an important board which oversees one of the municipality’s largest investments.
Charbonneau says the position came open after the resignation of board member Bev Wark who has left for health reasons.
The position will be advertised in the days ahead and will be on the municipality’s web site as well.
