Lights are back on in homes across Owen Sound.
Just as the polls were closing in Thursday night’s provincial election, over six thousand homes and businesses in the city were left in the dark.
Hydro One tells Bayshore Broadcasting News a raccoon interfered with its equipment.
Crews were quickly dispatched to investigate the problem, and restore power.
Everything was back to normal just after 11:30 PM on Thursday.
